Welcome back to the forum, Dog74
I'm very sorry to hear about your husband. You will be dealing with a lot of emotions and if you are stressed that will be raising your cortisol level which works against weight loss. That doesn't mean you can't make a start on losing weight: this might ring some bells about wanting to eat all the time, even when you're not hungry well.blogs.nytimes.com/2013...
I don't know if you have a plan in mind but you might like this straightforward one phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...

Hi Dog74. I am sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my husband at the end of 2019 and felt exactly like you. I have COPD and with the threat of covid I used that as my motivation. But it took me 8 months to get going. I am now at my target weight. Please be kind to yourself and use the help you will get from all the lovely people on here. Take care of yourself and good luck. You can do it . ❤
You poor soul, my heart goes out to you,💕 its no wonder your struggling. You need to grieve. If you want to eat try to make healthy choices instead but it's maybe not the right time to be trying to lose weight. Give yourself a break and just take care of yourself x
I'm sorry for your loss. Be kind to yourself, choose some healthy nourishing food.
