Hello and welcome, Kenny1962 :)

Diets don't work in the long term and it sounds as though you've found that out the hard way. This simple plan might suit you phcuk.org/wp-content/upload... I can't see any gluten in it but, if there is, there are plenty of substitutes.

You'll find everything you need by following this link healthunlocked.com/weight-l... A good start would be joining a weekly weigh in and using the daily diary. Have a look through all the posts so you don't miss anything.

Active participation is key to success so I hope we'll see you joining in around the forum :)

Hey Kenny1962! My eldest daughter is coeliac so we've been having a lot of gluten free food in our house since she was diagnosed at the age of 12, eleven years ago. To top this, my kids are all vegetarian (I have four of them!), one is diabetic, and two are very fussy. Mealtimes in our house can be a challenge. Thankfully my partner will eat anything, so he doesn't add to the mayhem. If you are looking for some inspiration, there are some magazines that are all about gluten free cooking and can be nice to flick through, as well as plenty of blogs and websites out there to browse. I use all of these for inspiration when planning the next few meals, and find it helps to plan for a few days at a time, especially now with the pandemic and trying to limit shopping trips. Good luck with it 🙂

If you are someone who eats meat, fish, eggs and dairy you might enjoy a low carb, good fat way of eating. Add in loads of every kind of veg, a little fruit depending on how strict you want to be, and you can enjoy a very satisfying diet and lose weight without having to worry about gluten at all. You don't have to be a carnivore of course (I eat a lot of vegetarian dishes) but if you are just starting out and a bit stuck it is very easy to eat that way and solves two problems at once, gluten and weight loss.

Hi, hang in there u can do it! Have u joined the gluten free groups on Facebook etc... I'm dairy intolerant and veggie so I bought me a book to read, might be an idea to get a gluten free magazine/book, there is an organisation for coeliac too. I think u can get meal planners too. Mesa sunrise is gluten free, for breakfast or they do gluten free oats in asda, explore, im looking at vegan stuff, im enjoying trying new foods. U can do it!
