Need help, not diet related

I'm sorry this is not diet related but we have fallen in love with a beautiful rescue dog and there will be lots of people who want him, so I am asking you all please to send us good luck vibes, we have 3 spaniels, but he has stolen our hearts.

Our’s was the off spring of a rescue dog. Her parents were both so calm, not this one! What is it with the zig zag walking 🤣😂

Our dog before was a rescue dog as well. Keep thinking positive 😁

,We have one rescue, I just feel like he is so beautiful so many others will want him and as we have 3, we may be overlooked. One of ours walks in circles round us, which causes a few issues, but we manage,

I think the fact that you are already spaniel owners will be a huge tick next to your name not get you passed over. Just a tip. The Rescue I am involved with prefer people who are smitten with the dog’s personality and character over looks.

Hoping you do manage to adopt the lovely boy though.

Thank you I know they try to match dogs to the right people, but thinking about it they do like the dogs to go to members of the fundraising group I belong to, so maybe we are in with a chance. I don't know how many others have applied though.

Thank you, it's heart-breaking seeing all their sad little faces, I would help them all if I could. We do what we can with donations and fundraising, but it's never enough.

Aww he is exactly like our sons spaniel who is the love of our lives We haven't been able to see him since October due to Covid and I ache to give him a cuddle again So I'm sending loads and loads of luck that you get him ☘️🤞xx

I really hope you get your new dog Spaniels are so beautiful those eyes 🤗I am keeping everything crossed we see him after the 29th when we are allowed to meet in the garden We saw him last night on facetime but it's not the same 💕

This past year has been awful and pets have been such a wonderful comfort I'm glad you have your beautiful dogs to get you through these rotten old times

Just a quick update, he has now arrived in the UK and is apparently very gentle and just wants love.My application has been received and Joan from the rescue is going to call me tomorrow, so we are definitely in with a chance.

It probably helps that she is a member of my fundraising group and has seen loads of pictures of my dogs having fun, but I will still need to have a home check.

Not sure exactly what breed he is as he has a back up package with Labrador rescue, so he may be a spaniel lab cross, which is fine by us, as he is gorgeous.

I don't know how long he has to stay in kennels, but imagine it will be a while before he can actually come to his new home.

Thank you, I can't believe how quickly it's happened, it's great that we are both off work next week as its about a 4 hour drive each way to pick him up.

I thought we would have to have a home check and it would take several weeks, but she phoned today and is sending his adoption documents and we will pay the donation and collect him next Tuesday.

Ziggy will be fine and probably Merlin, Blue-Moon can be a little bit possessive, but will I'm sure be fine. They are used to my daughters pug staying regularly. xx

Oh that is perfect timing, not just for picking him up but for him settling in too.

I'm sure there wont be more than a few muttering under the breath off Blue-Moon. My Mr Pringle likes to mutter at others just to let them know i'm his mum but its very quiet and very brief lol xx

From your photo, it looks as though he is used to be being around other dogs, so that will help. I wonder what happened to his friend, I hope he/she has found a forever home as well.

He is used to other dogs, just not sure about cats yet.

There were 4 dogs altogether, the one with him who has a new home, and her brother and sister, who are looking for new homes. I'm sure they will get lovely new homes soon as they are all gorgeous x
