Well I’m restarting nhs weight loss using app. Stopped due to ill health (not Covid) so back onboard as of tomorrow back to work - working from home so need all support to keep onboard.!
We’re buying a foldable exercise bike as husband is joining me this time round.
Also can I ask which calorie checker everyone uses - as have found nhs one doesn’t seem to have everything on it- I’ve searched for foods from Aldi(my favourite supermarket 😊).
Thank you 😊

To be honest I've never counted calories, but many people use apps like myfitnesspal, or you could use your search engine.
As a reminder, all of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts
healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and we hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially a weigh-in and the daily diary.
We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
I use MyFitnessPal. You can find a lot of things on there, you can also scan the barcodes of products to find those particular items. If they don’t happen to be there, you can add them yourself using information on the package and then they will be added to the database.
I use the free version, it’s enough for me - you can add foods, you can set the limit of calories you are aiming for, you can add your meals, you can record your weight, you can add exercises if you want, you also have an option to see nutrients and macros - daily and weekly. So I have never even considered the version where I’d have to pay 😊
I also use the free version of My Fitness Pal. It's really easy, you can make your own meals up and save them to add to your diary each time you have it. Once you've used it for about a week you have a good base to work with. Good luck!
