Hello and welcome, frankie91 :)

Please don't be embarrassed. We're all here for the same reason and this is a great place for sharing support and information. The more you join in with activities, the more you'll get out of it :)

You'll find all the information you need about the forum in our Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... including a Welcome message, the Daily Diary and the current weigh in: a good place to start is by joining a weekly weigh in on the day of your choice, and using the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans.

Take your time exploring. This gives you a tour of the forum healthunlocked.com/?tour=true and, along with Pinned Posts, will show you how things work. I hope you'll become an active member and we will see you joining in around the forum 😊

PS the app doesn’t give access to all parts of the forum so we advise everyone to get rid of the app and log onto the full website using the browser on their phone

Hi frankie91 Very pleased to "meet" you - there are a lot of very supportive members and stacks of good advice and information here. I use the Daily Diary and weigh in on a Thursday. I have found it really helpful. I hope you start to feel a little bit better very soon. The first step is hard but you have taken it - I am impressed.

Hi Frankie91,

You have made the first step which is the main thing. I for one know how hard that can feel so, the next step will hopefully be easier. As BridgeGirl says, we're all here for the same reason and there is lots of support here. Have a look at the daily diary when you feel ready as they are really helpful and work out a plan that works for you.

Welcome and good luck with your weightloss ☺

Welcome! Don’t feel embarrassed, feel proud that you are about to become healthier 😀

Hi Frankie, I'm new too, just having joined the forum this week. My weight has been steadily increasing over recent years & like you, I'm conscious about it & want to make changes to be able to enjoy life better with my family. I'm also on antidepressants & other medication. But we have both, like so many, taken that initial big scary step on the start of a journey where we are not alone & will be supported & guided by all these lovely people on this forum. Now I'm no expert, otherwise I wouldn't be here 😄 but I believe we've got this so let's do it. x

Hi, why not join in with the Daily Diary as I suggested above? Post what you're eating, see what others are planning and join in the chat :)
