Well no, not really, but I couldn't help wanting to share my new kitten Pebbles! I got her yesterday, and even though she started off in her own bed, it wasn't long before this happened..

Aaaw I love black cats. We used to have a sweet black girl called Lexi, but she was hit by a car last year and killed.

Zelda had a bad accident, presumably with a car, and fractured her pelvis. Lots of surgery (and 💰💰💰) later, she's doing fine, fortunately

Good job they have 9 lives! 😺 It's awkward with cats isn't it? To essentially keep them prisoners indoors, or let them be cats and explore.

P.S. I hope no-one reading this is offended. It's merely my opinion. My own grown-up daughter, had indoor cats for more than 12 years, before they both succumbed to cancer. My girl loved her pets, and did what she thought was best for them. Same as I'm doing..

I also prefer cats to have the outdoor option. There are some cats who need to be indoors for medical reasons and, if I wanted an indoor cat, I'd go for one of those

Our cat had a similar accident not long after we had her. (Late 1980s). She recovered and lived until she was 20.😺

Cats will be Cats 🐈 this is Tiddles, now 15! She spent ½ of her life in the country, we had the kitchen window open during the day. The cats stayed in at night because of the wild boar, unruly dogs etc. The least problem was cars. When I moved to the town both cats were happy to be with me.

We lost Tubbs a couple of months ago from illness, Tiddles still looks for him. Poor Stellina, is frightened by my cats, Tubbs kept her in the kitchen the 1st night she was her. Now Tiddles only has to miaow and Stellina is off to a different room

She looks very similar to our Gizmo. She was black and white with similar markings. She was definitely an outdoor cat. We back onto fields and used to leave the bathroom window open. She could climb on the fence up to the kitchen extension roof and up to the window. She used to bring us mice🐀

Haha no-one can beat my cat from when I was a young teenager. She was called Elsewhere (I used to watch the hospital drama and it kinda suited a cat off exploring). Anyway she used to bring us "gifts" and one day honest to goodness, I was in the kitchen and saw Elsewhere trying to climb over the wall into our garden but she was struggling. I'd see a bit of her head then she'd disappear. I went to look coz I thought she was injured. And she had nabbed someone's frozen chicken presumably left near an open kitchen window to thaw 🤣 Talk about cat burger! One of our neighbours went without their Sunday roast that day

Similar story but the laugh was on us. In my married days, he'd done the shopping and left it in the kitchen. I accused him of forgetting the chicken though he swore he'd bought it. It turned up 3 days later, down the side of the garage - uneaten because she didn't want a raw bird!
