Need to lose 2 stones. Need to get fitter. Need to stop with the sugar rushes. Why need? Because I feel rubbish and I know if I do all of the above I will feel better. So here goes

Hello and welcome Whitehall1212

That’s an awful lot of pressure there . . . Could you maybe break it down into smaller, more achievable goals? How’s about I will aim for three meals a day, proper food and no junk, a brisk walk and daily interaction on the Weight Loss Forum to make friends and read inspirational stories. It’s an old adage but you don’t lose weight to get healthy, you need to get healthy in order to lose weight, if that makes sense 😊

If sugar is causing you problems, have a look at these posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

If you haven’t already, please read the Pinned Posts here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and then just start reading posts and replying to people, it really works!

Good luck

Indigo 😊

You’re very welcome 😊. Have a good look around and a read, and just ask if your unsure about anything

Hi there and welcome. Eating rubbish does make you feel rubbish and I had a good tip from someone once to just eat cakes etc that you have made as you know what is in them

In moderation I find this fine and I eat healthy food most of the time. I find slowing down eating helps😉

Good luck xx

Hi

Know the feeling - I'd like to lose 4 stone overnight. I remember feeling like this before and literally starving 3 stone away (it took a little longer than overnight). I hadn't changed any underlying habits and I'm now almost back to where I started 14 years ago. I promised myself yesterday (new here) that this time I'll aim for a change in mindset and a long term commitment to healthy living (including eating). The slow speed of doing it properly feels scary to me but I've tried it the other way.

Good luck!
