Struggling to get my act into gear.

Well, I really need someone to metaphorically kick me into action. I know that losing a stone by the end of the year is well within my grasp, and it would be good for my health and well being. I would get down to the weight I was two years ago when I felt great, but I cannot really do what is needed. I know what to do. Some one tell me to do it,I am dreading the Wednesday weigh in!

What was the reason you wanted to loose some weight in the first place??

Perhaps it would help to reconnect with the original intention?

You've been given all the information you need, Scubadoc, it's now just a case of putting the plan into action.

I cannot stress enough that ditching the carbs will ditch the desire to snack and that includes the 'so called' healthy carbs, like brown rice, wholemeal bread, cereals and jacket potatoes. Take my word for it, I did all Slimming World, Weight Watchers, calorie counting, wholewheat everything for over 40 years and became morbidly obese and miserable. I went LCHF, lost 7 stones in 15 months and regained my life!

Hi Scubadoc. There is a lot of information, groups and support on here. Not just weightloss focussed.

If you dont fancy, or can't face a weigh in don't do it this week, do what you feel comfortable with.

Have you checked out the daily diary? Or maybe tell us a bit about some training you are doing. I find it easier to cope with the slings and arrows of weightloss if I am surrounded by my on-line friends.

I notice you post is not locked. Many people do not respond to unlocked posts. If you go to your original welcome email, it will tell you how to lock it. 😁
