Hello Pally4 and welcome to this Forum! O yes,food can be exciting!! You will find lots of delicious and healthy food ideas here(see our Daily Diary, Lythams Larder and Recipe sections). The Forum promotes healthy food choices as opposed to "diets" as such and good eating habits that can endure not "quick fixes" ( which typically let us down rather like using a cheap filler on a DIY job)
People adopt a mix of approaches on here which you will see as you explore this site. We strongly recommend new members make use of one of our Weekly Weigh In pages and the Daily Diary posts.
