Dont be defeated

Hi, I just want to encourage anyone with that awful label 'morbidly obese', you can ake the changes for a healthy life. I was 23 stone 14 months ago and currently 15 and a half. I now love exercise and weight training. It does hurt to start but stick at it and the rewards are amazing. Get the right people around you to support you and good luck x

....it can take a bit to master finding one's way so please read the material carefully. There are other links within the Welcome message which show picture guides, info on privacy, FAQs page etc

Please note, don't use the HU App, it is much easier to use the website

We recommend that members wanting to lose or maintain weight loss join a Weekly Weigh-In, on the day of your choice, and also use the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans and get useful feedback. They are found under Pinned Posts (go back to the link I gave you above)

A special feature of our Forum is the degree of support between members which you will experience (and add to yourself !) as you join in and chat with others.

All the best on your weight-loss journey ! 😊

October 2018 I was morbidly obese! By October 2019 I lost over six stone and became my healthy bmi. It can be done as you say! Now it's 2020. I still love my exercise! Although I have put on one stone so am overweight. I am trying to work on it! No way will I let myself go back to what I was!

Well done! I have only just got past the fear of going back to how I was and now feel much more confident. I have a few stone to go but it is happening. Stay strong, these are extraordinary times.
