Are you really hungry all the time or do you just want to eat? I know the feeling and do feel in control now even though I'm not losing a lot of weight. It's the forum that is helping me as I don't feel I'm alone this time. I only started a couple of weeks ago and am taking little steps at a time.

Try and cut back on sweet things as sugar is addictive. I was hooked on it and still find it hard to resist but this time I do care. When I used to go O.T.T. I used to think "I don't care" but then in the morning I hated myself.

You'll have to find snacks that you know is good for you and eat what works. I've been eating a lot more fruit and also find chewing gum helps. Good luck and remember you are not alone.

They are only around 50-60 calories so a healthy snack and still get my sweet fix when I âm craving it. I've just been eating bananas when hungry. I started 9th jan and lost 2 stone now. You can do it! Good luck

I love eating and following the NHS plan, I find I am really full. You have to make sure you are healthy with the baby. Have some funky music playing and do the cleaning to the beat. You baby will love it and you will excercise with pleasure. Spend time planning your meals, then play in the kitchen. Experiment with ingredients and calories counting. We had a pasta dish for lunch. One 375g pack of Wholemeal pasta, fry 1 zuchini in one spoon of olive oil. In a blender mix a 400g can of chopped tomatoes / 2 frozen mash garlic cubes / 2 teaspoons chilli chutney / 1/3 red onion / handful of basil and mint / half lemon juice / 1 spoon of olive oil. Blend, then add on to zuchini to warm up, then add on to pasta. This does 4 or 5 meals = 617 calories each or less if 5 meals. You will be full all afternoon. Then at night, we are having 2 small homemade spicy delicious hamburgers (just the patties) with two serves of winter veges = 173 calories. Breakfast was just 6 Cruskits with a small can of tuna = 253 calories. In between was a medium Apple and some grapes. AND I am still below the 1400. I may allow myself 10 grams of Camember on a cruskit for the grand total of 89 calories and still be in front! So you see, you can have a healty diet while enjoying every minutes of it. Go for it. You can do it. Ps: don't have pasta everyday though :)

It's a common problem to confuse being hungry with being thirsty. If you're feeling hungry try a drink first , perhaps a big glass of water or a fruit tea as these have very few calories. Then wait 20 minutes and see if you still feel hungry.

It's great that you can recognise your problems, it's just finding a way round them now.

You'll get there! Slowly and surely!

Hi there, my little boy is 9 months and I'm now back at work part time. I personally found it partly due to boredom. I joined baby groups and made more effort to be out and about and I found that helped.

The hunger does subside if you push through it.

Good luck!

Personally I've tried to combine time with friendd with exercise seen as I now lack free time. I've been to trampoline parks, was at an adult only roller disco the other night. I'm being healthy, im having fun with friends and I'm occupied, so less hungry. Hope you find what works for you!

Hi to all you special Angels

Life after becoming a new mum is such a roller coaster ride, which differs from day to day and thing only thing that stays the same, is the precious little treasure that demands your full attention.

Unfortunately you become the bottom of the pecking order and you only get time to throw what ever the quickest easiest thing to eat possible down your neck, normally not healthy and if we're honest at times it's the left overs rom feeding the kids!! I'm holding my hand up as with twins it was pretty much the norm fort me or either that or nothing!!

My twins are now 23, My daughter is engaged to a lovely guy who is 25 and still at home and she spends 5 days there and 2 days at home and my son is still like a moody teenager, spends most of his time in his bedroom doing his own thing, struggling to still get on the employment ladder.

This special poem is for all you new special mummy angels who are going through ups and downs both mentally and physically, with your emotions fighting constantly aswell.

When angels sense you need them

And angels always do

They come unseen from everywhere

To help and comfort you

They hover close beside you

Till all your cares are gone

Till they can see you're ready

Once again to carry on

Then some of them fly away

And take their gentle touch

To other hearts that need the love

Of angels very much

But one at least stays with you

As your constant friend and guide

For guardian angels never leave you

They are always by your side!

Print this poem out and put t where you'll get most comfort from it and pass it on to other people who you now will get great comfort from it.

Good luck to all of you on your journey to a new to healthier sexy you!!

Take care and gentle hugs and angel blessing to you all XXX000XXX
