Slowly and surely wins the race!

I finally hit my weight target after about four years. I am no longer overweight — for the first time since 1997. I was 210 lbs (15st) when I started.

I've been hovering around 2lbs overweight for about six months but a week of no beer took me across the finish line.

I'm feeling good with no beer belly for the first time in ages but I'm thinking I might go for another five pounds before I call it done. No rush! Another four years will be fine :-)

Well done on reaching your target. I am very close to mine but have been struggling to the lose the last 2kg for a while now. Your post gives me hope that I will get there.

Great stuff. It just proves that what took years to put on also takes years and not weeks to take off. Good on you for staying with it.

Amazing!

Thank you for sharing; your success is an inspiration.

I hope you are enjoying the comfort ease of being healthy!

I was a normal weight a few years back and it was pretty great - easier and cheaper to buy clothes, mentally I felt stronger and I even moved better.

I hope I can follow your example.
