Porridgelover, you've lost your badge!! Did you have a weight loss badge or was it your start month (and, if so, when?)
You can check your weights by clicking on your avatar, selecting Profile and the Replies (not posts). You can also find past weigh-ins in Topics/OLD weigh-ins. Here's how to find Topics healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
Hi Bridge Girl
I haven't been given a badge it was my start month. I started on the 5 January 2020. I found the old weigh in. Thank you. Hoping for a badge soon!
It's there now Your Jan 2020 badge. It wasn't there before.
Yes, I'm sure you'll soon be asking for a weight loss one
Yeah! A badge.
Is it normal to be really thirsty when you are in ketosis. Also I'm in a shocking mood this afternoon I'm really fighting a craving for somethingsweet!! I'm not going to give in especially after getting a badge!
Best take that question over to the lchf forum. I never really dived into full keto. I'd say, though, drink according to thirst, and I've seen bouillon recommended, and not skimping on salt - though, of course, that may make you more thirsty.
Stick with it, I'm sure the cravings will reduce if you sit them out 😊
Hi Porridgelover, the criteria for a weightloss badge (as well as achieving loss in weight!)is contributing on a regular basis on a weekly weigh-in page by supporting others who are weighing in that day. It's the peer-to-peer support that helps people get to know each other on that day and to aud each others progress. Am sure you are virtually there but that's why people don't get a weight loss badge straight away just on recording a loss. Its a huge help to Admin(and yourself if looking back) to note the start weight, weight at previous weigh in, loss/gain or STS that week and overall loss from 1st weigh in. Having all the figures helps keep it all on track 🤗 all best Di
hey, do you start the weight loss programme?
Hello, Pauline_L, and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum
Everything you need to be an active member of the forum is in our Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... I recommend joining a weekly weigh-in team and using the Daily Diary to share your meal plans. You'll find great support there.
Hi Pauline-L
Welcome to this site. I decided 3 weeks ago to lose some weight as I was fed up with feeling heavy and my clothes weren't fitting anymore. I thought about it and decided to do the Keto diet as I had tried calorie counting and it didn't do it for me. I am a newbie here so decided to start with joining a weekly weighin group so I have a weekly target to work towards. I also read the comments on this site and this keeps me motivated. It seems to be keeping me on track and I have lost 7lbs so far.
Hope this helps you in some way but there is plenty of advice and advisors on this site who know more than me.
