Weight loss: Hi everyone any tips and... - Weight Loss Support
Weight loss
I'd like to be the first to say welcome!
The clever bods will send you all sorts of info about using the site, but we're a lovely bunch and joining in really helps with keeping on track.
I've done slimming world (very well, but a goodly amount went back on). This group is like a club that is open all hours for when you feel the need of a bit of support.
What do you like or not like with WW or Slimming World? I'm doing LCHF (low carb, high fat) and loving it - totally counter intuitive (or against everything you're told) but it works, not just as a 'diet' but as a good way of eating.
I've been doing a Slimming world but no success , welcome to this group .
Look .Looking at healthy eating and calories now using fitbit and more exercise, some good tips and ideas on here
Thanks for the welcome and the advice x

Hi, Clement69 , welcome.
Many of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Eating All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
Time to ditch the diets
I hope you've had time to read the first two links moreless has given you. They'll point you in a better direction.
I've been struggling with weight for years and years (seems forever) I did Weight Watchers eons ago, but only had 20 lbs to lose then and lost it, but now have 40 lbs to lose. Had 50 to lose, Have lost 10 so far. Had lost 15 but gained back 5. It is going soooooooooo slow. I want to lose 40 lbs by Feb 1 for a trip to Disneyworld. (and lots of other reasons - mainly health reasons, but so many more reasons. Been trying for years and getting no where! I just happened to stumble on this site and thought I'd try it.
Hi thanks for the reply I have the same amount to loose we could join forces together and give each other some support as were on the same journey I'm sure we will both get to where we want to be weight wise
This may help you both to find a new approach, along with the links moreless has given
thanks for replying to me. I would love your support and to support each other. I have been trying to find some motivation and we can motivate each other.
