Good to hear you're making progress :)

Are you going to join in some of the forum activities? The Thursday weigh-in team would make you very welcome. All information needed to find your way there is in the Welcome post lucigret gave you when she welcomed you, here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh....

Congratulations on keeping low calories.

BUT your calorie intake sounds too low.

AND your weight loss too high. 5 pounds in 10 days seems too much.

Are you taking slimming products?

No slimming products. Simply eating smaller portions like a small amount of spaghetti bol or salmon and baby potatoes and broccoli. I eat three times a day and I have carbs fat protein and sugar in my diet just limit the sugar and fat and calories I try for whole grain bread if I have to eat bread limit the butter. But no slimming tablets I don’t want to lose 1 pound per week lol. I think I’ve lost that much because ! They say at my weight I should be eating 2200/2300 calories a day which I feel is too much so I go ahead with about 1400/1600 a day. Thank you for your reply.

I tend to agree with Elisabeth3. If you could lose weight at 1lb a week eating 2200 calories, I'm not sure why you want to go for 1400 calories. You'll certainly lose weight at first but you're likely to stall your metabolism and struggle going forward.

All advice is based on personal experience and the knowledge and understanding forum members have gained along the way, and you're welcome to act on it or not as you choose, of course :) I hope you'll start to get involved with forum activities: it's great to have company along the way. Joining a weekly weigh-in is a good start and using the Daily Diary for your meal plans. lucigret gave you all the information you need to find your way around when you joined the forum and here's a reminder healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Thanks!

Very steep kick start can fire back if you want to keep that rhythm.

You often have a good kickstart when setting out on new food plan - so in my opinion 5lbs in 10 days is ok.

However, I started at nearly 13 stone and my lower limit was 1400 calories - so I would say for you 1400 calories is too low and drastic - slower is better and more attainable and sustainable in the long term!

You will see how you are getting on, and adjust your intake.

It is better to have a sustainable weight loss than starving and binging it all back.

Ok I have noted all feedback and shall update again on Monday with my next weight loss I tend to weigh every Monday because that’s where I start. I don’t find my self hungry at all or starving. I find it easy and quite a treat to stick to baring in mind I usually try the shake diet 3 shakes small meal in the evening I found I was always starving on that and it was hard to stick too, also the low carb diet was nightmare, felt sick vomity lack of energy. I’m buzzing with energy and find it easy and I can enjoy fruit pasta protein and treats and still reduce I’m ever so happy! However I do understand all advice given but I have to do what’s right for me.
