I’m 30 years old. I been fat all my life. I was going through a depression period where I lost 90 pounds. I didn’t know I lost over 90 pounds until people started complimenting my weight loss. Anyways I went from 400 to 270. Then I started focusing on my weight. I’m starting to feel confident in myself but I still have some of my belly left. I honestly feel disgusted and don’t know how I let myself get so fat. I stopped drinking soda. I stop eating junk food. I stick to water and unsweetened ice tea. I stopped eating pizza & Mc Donald and all that crap. I been working out. The problem is I have a learning problem. It takes me time to understand things. When people talk About protein or carbs I have no clue what that is. I had to watch YouTube videos to understand excersise. I have no help and I can’t ask people for weight loss tips because I don’t understand the things they talk about like cardio or simple things like protein. That’s all new to me. I had to YouTube cardio to see what that is. I think if I had people who is better at explaining things and give details that would help me out. I’ve been very dedicated to having a healthy life and being healthy. I went from 257 to 244. That’s because I understand calories better after watching YouTube videos and I started to read the product labels before I buy them. Lately what I been drinking ketoscience meal shake. One for breakfast and lunch then I have a healthy dinner. Then I have fruits as dissert/snacks. Then I do workout for 25 minutes sometimes 3 times a day or 2 times a day. On top of the ketoscience shakes I also fast at the same time so I don’t eat basically until dinner. I don’t know if I’m doing right. I don’t know if these ketoscience shakes are making a difference and I don’t know if I need it to gain ketosis. I’m learning as I go. I also have diabetes type 2. But my diabetes is in perfect control. My doctor was wondering how did I get a perfect number in the blood test. He asked what I did to make it go down. Because he said at this point the number I have is as if I don’t have diabetes and that’s the beginning stage of someone Who’s close to getting diabetes. I take all my medicine and change my diet. But I need help because I wanna lose more of my belly. Does it matter if I make the ketoscience shake? Do I need to take a keto product to be considered a keto diet? if anyone could give me more tips and advice please I’d appreciate it.

Hi Shadoe. I have had depression and was 80lbs overweight. You have done extremely well to have achieved all you have done with very little support!

If you find the answer for belly fat I would love to know! Unfortunately from my own looking into this I have concluded I have to just accept it as part of me. It is smaller since my 6 stone weight loss but it hangs down and can flap about during exercise. I am hoping continued exercise will see it shrink but other than having surgery it is unlikely to ever be flat. However since exercising and losing weight I still feel beautiful! I treat myself to gorgeous clothes and I feel the best - mentally and physically - that I ever have felt. I am 40. I wish I had felt this way at 20! And I wasn't even overweight back then!

Happiness is a fickle thing! Often people talk themselves out of being happy because they tell themselves they can ONLY be happy if they are a certain weight, or have x amount of money, or own a certain car etc.

You have accomplished a lot! Reversing diabetes is no mean feat! Its time to love yourself as you are!
