I have not posted for a while as I had lost my way a bit with my diet and lost all momentum in the process!
I had been away on holiday earlier this month and managed to hurt my back on the flight back. Consequently, I had a great deal of back pain and stiffness for several weeks. This made me tired and grouchy (never good) and not really focused on my diet and certainly not able to exercise.
Things went a bit pair-shaped and my weight didn’t move - very demotivating.
Anyway, my back is improving, albeit slowly, so I am determined to get back on track, though it might be a while before I can get back to cycling and running.
Has this happened to others? How did you restart and re-invigorate yourself to get back on track?
I know as soon as I start back up again I will feel better but I am finding it hard to start afresh when I start the day exhausted having had a poor night sleep due to back stiffness.
Any advice to get back into the groove would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'd suggest getting into the habit of using the Daily Diary to post your meal plans and see what others are up to. And rejoining the Saturday weigh-in team. The forum is set up for interaction so giving yourself 10-15 mins a day to drop in, no need to post, read what others are posting and reply or ask question, join in activities - that can all help you keep focused
Everything should be here in the welcome pack healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... Don't forget, you need to get your calorie range from the NHS BMI calculator as 1400 is a generic figure that suits very few of us
