Hi I need to lose weight I have been off my feet and not active since an accident in Feb 18.

I had broken fib/Tib and ankle pins and plates in my leg so not so easy getting about still under hospital and phyiso so need as much help and support as possible was always active walking all the time so finding it hard .

That sounds like a very painful injury and I hope you're mending well. We have other members with very similar injuries, who are still managing to lose weight, although their inactivity, as I'm sure yours is, is very frustrating.

I’m also on crutches following ankle surgery and have been immobile for a while so you have my sympathy. The good news is that for weight loss it’s more about food, and there are exercises you can still do such as stretches and strength exercises

Sounds like a bad break hope you're on the mend now. You could try some of the seated exercises and so long as eating less should be able to loose I've lost a stone and do no exercise other than walking Archie ( my dog). Good luck
