Was a very close call! And seems to be a common close call on Sundays! I work hard to get everything done over the weekend, the washing, ironing, exercising, cooking, cleaning and general running around! And if it all goes well I get to a point on Sunday where I am all caught up with nothing left to do! And wham... Boredom hunger starts creeping up on me!
I want to chill out but not being busy is when the hunger-gremlins strike! And I already had all my calories for the day! Actually I already went over by 25 calories but that was ok. I did running today, aerobics, treadmill and a walk with my daughter so I'm sure I burned a lot of calories!
Anyways sorry if I'm rambling. I came on here to pass the time to keep myself in line! Lol
Oh and another saviour to my almost-fell-off-the-wagon... The neighborhood kids knocked on my door about an injured pigeon. I've a bit of a rep in this area for helping animals and have successfully helped and released a few. Of course a few also die but at least I give them a warm and peaceful place for their end.
This current pigeon is not flying but seemed strong when I caught it. It is not a baby and I can't see any blood although I can't examine it properly until tomorrow. If a birds been scratched by a cat it usually dies within 24 hours or so. Plus its best to let them calm down and get over the shock for the night.

Well done for staying on the wagon,👏👏👏You've certainly done a lot of exercises today too. I know a lot of people who hate Sundays, but for me that my craft day. I do Hook Art, Sewing, Handmade Rag dolls and anything with a little sparkle haha.... Maybe you and your daughter could make Sunday's a craft day and do something together to keep boredom away...... I hope your pigeon feels better tomorrow, I'm known saving butterflies😊 not only the ones my cats get wrong for catching but the ones their friends catch in the street also
Aww that's lovely! About the butterflies AND the crafts!
Yesterday my daughter and I were making origami butterflies and hanging them on the ceiling. Each one represents 5lb of my weight loss so we made ten 😊
I am usually home alone on a Sunday, my husband goes sailing, so it’s my craft day too. Today I have been working on some beadwork and I’m just about to do some stitching while I’m watching Line of Duty although I expect there will be more watching than stitching 😂
That's a good idea! Ages and ages ago I made a patchwork blanket and it certainly kept my hands busy and mind occupied when watching TV (instead of munching!) 😀
Back to it today! Work will occupy me for most of the day! I have Thursday and Friday off work this week so they might be tricky but I'm very glad I didn't succumb to temptation yesterday!
Hi the answer is YES ! We are doing another challenge ! So are you going to join our summer challenge and pledge to achieve something in 10 weeks? Drop a dress size, fit into an old outfit, lose an inch or get fitter? Im going to pledge hitting 20,000 steps on my fitbit, beating my personal best x
Ok can't find it... Or its not started yet?? But let me know when it's ready and I will join up! With my birthday next week (and my brother-in-law's the week after) I am certain to put a few pounds back on and be eager to get back on the wagon!!
No not till 26th hun, you can weigh in at normal weigh ins but this will be for pledging something else, what are you going toto pledge? Happy birthday for next week ! x
