Hi I'm new, struggling with my weight. Been doing slimming world since June 2016. I lost 3 stone than I put it all back on and more. My weak points are eatting when I'm stressed. I have two dogs which I am getting back to walking every day. Do you ever feel like your stuck? I'm like a yoyo I seem to loose weight the week after put it back on and more I can't seem to just keep it off. In the last two years I have put on over 8 stone. I really want to loose 9 stone in total. What have people done ?

You are not alone in that weight loss yo-yo, we have to find a way of eating that we can follow for life, so ditching diets and eating proper food is a good first step. Hi Amie1995, I’m on and off SW too. And I eat when I’m stressed too.

Have you tried EFT. You tap on acupuncture points while voicing your problems. If you look on YouTube there are a lot of videos. I especially like Jessica Ortner. She has a video of how to tap and another for surrogate tapping which I like a lot.

I have tried the keto diet too. Which taught me that heathy fats are good for you. Now I’m trying to use my syns for healthy fats.

And I found a fun calorie counting up called ‘Loose it’.

I am a newbie too 🙂

Hello, thank you I will have a look on YouTube.

I've been referred by my doctors as I've not kept weight off for over 19 months even though I have been attending slimming world classes every Monday.

I never considered myself successful in SW. The most I lost was when it happen half a pound at the time but I didn’t get the recognition for it. Should have done as it was going down steadily. Anyway, as I’m so bad in following up a diet I always come back to SW as there is very little to count. I worked out there is no place for fat in SW but when I did the Keto I felt so much fuller with all the fat. The only problem is, I shouldn’t have dairy and olive oil in that amount is sickly. So decided syns is for fat and that is ok.

Hi Amie. If you could track why you put your weight back on, and start from there. You managed to lose weight before, you can do it again. Long term result is more likely if you don't concentrate on weight loss only.

The provlem with me in stress, I have had a lot go on in the last year's. Got married planned it all on my own. Husband has been diagnosed with a heart problem long story cut short is his heart is decreasing he is only 25. I don't talk to much of my family I have about 4 family members and they still only bother with me when I make the first contact.

Oh, I am very sorry about your husband's heart problem. Can I ask why you decided to lose weight right now? And what you expect from it? (Beside the obvious less kilos :-))
