Where I am

Since I recently went on Paxil at a time when I was at my ideal weight, which was 120 lbs I started gaining. and fast. I gained 50 pounds. I ran/walked today for about 40 minutes which is my usual go to exercise. I am planning on getting back into yoga. I have put myself on a diet of mostly veggies no meat (the reason being I love animals so much the thought makes me sick) and I’m eating in a window of 9:00- 5:00 twice a day. I need something to motivate me. To make myself commit to being serious about loosing weight. I do really well eating healthy and then I’ll pig out on gummy bears or some crap food and feel terrible. I feel like I’m never going to see the pounds shed. Any tips?

Talk to your doctor! Weight gain that fast isn't good. He has others that don't have that side effect!

Speak to your Dr anyway. They may have some ideas to keep the gain from happening. I've found that regular weight monitoring and, especially, noting it in my journal, helps. Having to write it down makes a bigger impression, so I'm more motivated to stick with the things I know will help. Weight has been a real struggle for me for most of my adult life! Journaling is not the only answer, but, I've found it to be the a huge help. Hope you find something that works!

Yeah good idea I was recording what I ate so that I had to really think about it and commit to only healthy foods and healthy portions. Then I got really tired of recording. So may go back to it again and this time to stick with it. Thanks!!! Oh and I spoke with my doc but he didn’t have much to say.
