Starting the week the right way

Just finished my hour long walk this morning, walking to and from my daughters School. Feeling pretty good, but very tired now!

It's a pretty hard walk, most of it is an off road track through the fields. It's all loose gravel and mud. It was raining last night and the mud was very slippy this morning and I nearly fell over.

I'm looking to invest in some wellies just for the walk, but I usually have to get the wider sized shoes.

So, does anyone have any recommendations of wellies? I don't mind the length of them, but they have to have good grip! And preferably durable as I do this walk twice a day!

Don't wear wellies to walk in, JWalk27, they won't be comfortable at all! Invest in a pair of walking boots/shoes, or wear trainers with a good sole, that can be thrown in the washing machine :)

Seconded. Rubber boots are horrible for longer walks.

Walking boots are the best way to go . You will want to walk if you have comfortable feet 👍

i have broad feet, too. My walking boots are the most comfortable footwear I have :)

I think you would benefit from ankle support - so walking boots or "trainers" that come up over the ankle.

I just Googled "Ankle Trainers", and several options came up.
