Hey guys, hope you're all recovered from the Bank holiday weekend and back into routine. Just thought I would post on something I saw this morning, while scrubbing my face and brushing my teeth I noticed the muscles in my shoulders were much more defined. That's a good personal tell for me losing weight. I know it's tough to notice sometimes as the changes can be very small and blurred over days and weeks, but It's something I've picked up on before so it was a big encouragement to see it again.
Other than that everything is pretty smooth, no big dramas, just plugging away at the program, staying away from the sugars and hitting the calorie target to plus or minus 100 to 150 cals every day.
Feeling good and on the way to looking good too, oh yeah!

Thanks for sharing, it's great to get good results, well done it's a real encouragement to us all. I'm just starting Day 2, obviously there is no physical change for me but it feels so good that I'm actually on the road to getting healthier, fitter and less of me.
I wouldn't complain moreless! A bit far off the mark but hey, celebrate the little things as you're making the journey and the end doesn't seem so far off.
Great going Stevo5585 it's such a motivator when we start to see the changes in ourselves rather than on the scales, Keep on going your doing brilliant.
Good to see thing are going well and keep it up mate. I had a good Bank Holiday Monday, Went out on my bike ,did 32 miles. Do you do many exercise and what is your Targret .
I started at 13st 13lbs and now 10st 11lbs and I try and do 15mins of strength and hour on my bike a day. And I'm happier and fitter for it.
I find it easier , now I Portion control .That's where lots of people struggle.
Cheers Phil62, not as much exercise as I'd like at work, job is fairly active but trying to get more exercise time into the routine. At home I can get out on a bike, have a buddy who's keen on it to so we egg each other on and get competitive.Target is to get down to 115 kg, that's pretty much where I was when I played rugby. The BMI scale is a little off for me as I'm broad as well as tall so would be skin and bones to get down to the recommended weight for my height. I'll take stock once I get there whether or not to continue lower.
Getting into the hang of it, portion control was a huge one for me too. Before I could happily hoover up whatever was in front of me. Now eating what I need rather than what's on offer.
Thanks for the shout out mate, all good encouragement, appreciate it and take care.
Cool it's great when you can notice changes yourself... I always lose from my face - ie the first visible sign for me. Next it is a while but I see tee shirts hanging a little looser... This time round I have also done C25K so seeore definition in the thigh muscles and for the first time ever I think my butt had shrank in a bit...that might be wishful thinking though....
