Today I reached a small goal today and was biting the bullet all the way too the top of the hill. It was a 2 hour round trip which burned 1088 calories total distance 11.02km.
My total step count today is 19.5k steps.. which is the most so far for one day.
I ended up stopping at the shop on my way back and got myself a fresh cucumber and reduced to 8p tomato and basil soup which I have just had as a reward for my efforts today.
How do I feel you may ask? Well I feel good and happy about what I have done today and wish to achieve this goal on a regular bases and some time in the future turn this walk into a run.
I am tired of course but at least I will sleep well.
It was painful walk but like they say no pain no gain!
I did snack last night on some mini chicken fillets but missed breakfast this morning for a brunch instead.
Brunch:cheese sandwich
Lunch: cheese sandwich with fruit/ satsuma
Dinner: Shepard pie (medium portion)
Evening snack: Tomato and basil soup with carrots and cucumber.
I really hope I see the reward on Sunday on my weigh in... I promise too my followers I will be good and carry on this effort and life changing habits.

The pace I was walking at. As a ex solider I used to do some think called TABs tactical advance to battle in which the pace of walking is very fast with weight on my back.
Currently not carrying weight but I kept the same pace on the flat as well as the hill.
My legs are not like jelly but feel good at the moment but it was painful doing the hilly bits tho which I took a 15 min break at the top.
Thank you. I think it's worth reading what "concerned" has to say in the comments section. I hope you enjoy your gym class crazy vanilla.. keep up the good effort π
Your informative input is welcomed. As I do not have or afford a heart rate monitor as of yet. I am having to gauge myself and go with gut instinct which is not always the best way but my only way. My recovery day is on Thursday so tomorrow on Wednesday will be another walk but at a relaxing pace
Technically I have gone from a very in active person to slowly easing my way into a more active person.
I hope to have a proper heart rate monitor before the end of the year and before my runs which I will take recovery very seriously as well as my stretching pre stretch and post stretch.
I value your input concerned. π always welcomed
Well done! But as Concerned has said keep any eye on your heart rate when pushing yourself. Your wrist pulse will be a good guide of your heart rate. If it's too fast to count take it a bit easier until it slows a bit. We don't want you keeling over!ππππΆπΆπΆπππ
Thanks I can only get out what I put in. That might be a good idea people are free to follow me if they need motivation π I think it's good to post often and keep people in check even if they are low.
