Hi there, I need to lose a lot of weight.... just had my 3rd baby 5 months ago and the scales are saying I weigh 17 stone.... I’ve always been a slimming world fan but I feel like I know it inside out now... so much so I cheat and then fall off the wagon. I’ve tried a new approach to my weight loss this time, something I’ve never done before, which is running and exercising. I’m on week 3 of couch to 5k and I’m also doing a boot camp twice a week. Doesn’t anyone have any tips to help me kick start my weight loss too? Any apps anyone can suggest? I’d like to stay away from slimming world if possible as I feel I need something fresh that I’ve not tried before. Thanks

Help with a new approach
Hi lisgxxx firstly congratulations on your baby and for doing something positive. I have tried many diets and always wanted a quick start too. I have ended up back where I started. This time a new approach ....I am not looking at this as a diet because they end and the trouble begins. I have increased my exercise have a calorie allowance which is generous and keep some for treats. I only eat food i enjoy and no diet foods. It's working for me you have to think long term i think. Good luck
