I have two questions. Firstly, are there any other vegan people on here with good ideas for weight loss that has worked for them? Or diet plans that are vegan? Preferably for one, not a family of four...
Secondly, does anyone have a helpful reference for portion sizes? I need something that ideally has weights in grams, but all I keep seeing is food measured as handfuls / size of your fist / size of a matchbox (??!). I find these really unhelpful!
Any help gratefully received - thanks in advance 😊

For portion size, I’m not sure how it equates for vegans, but I try to have less than 120g starchy carbs per day, remember there is some protein in bread/rice etc so I don’t think I’d go any lower.
Recommendations are 70-100mg protein per kilo of body weight, for me that’s around 50g per day. But as your main protein sources are probably beans and pulses this may differ.
I have at least two servings of vegetables with every with meal
And two to three portions of dairy, ie 200 ml milk, 25g cheese so presume you would need similar of vegan alternatives
The rest I would make up with good natural fats. Nuts, avocado, olive oil, nut butter etc
There is a vegan forum called vegan foods for life, they may be able to help you, i am vegetarian myself so unsure on any specifics really but f/book have a few vegan groups too - have you tried them? xx
