I’m a complete newbie to this forum and to the NHS Choices program - in fact, I stumbled across it whilst searching “Weight Watchers v Slimming World” and saw this - so, before rushing out and joining a SW or WW class I thought I’d look at this...how are you all finding it? Please leave me a comment with your experiences good or bad and if the good outways the bad then I’ll give it a go!
Hope to hear from you soon!

I'd like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out. If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice. Here's the link
For me, this forum absolutely rocks the pants off SW or WW, both of which Ive tried in the past.
I have found so much support and advice and non-judgemental concern here. At any time of day or night - there always seems to be someone else online. Also I like the anonymity as opposed to the public shaming!! And that its free. And that you can follow whatever diet plan you like (i do calorie counting as per nhs 12 week plan, then i can eat whatever i want within calorie allowance).
I agree with post completely the public shaming of SW used to stress me I don’t loose weight easily and to be made to feel like a freak when I knew I had been good was the final straw.
I'm glad you've found this forum then - its so so much better! Losing weight is hard enough without anyone making you feel bad into the bargain. Best of luck with your journey
Stick with us Christian1972 much better than SW or WW and it’s free! The more you come onto the forum, join in and chat to others the more you will get out of it 😊
The good is massive in my opinion - and I haven't found the bad yet.
Join us, doubt if you will regret it, such a supportive bunch on people and no judgements. we are all on our own journeys and all support everyone else.
Hi, I'm a complete newbie too, I have high hopes but, at the moment, I'm kind of lost within all this posts, communities, challenges, ... I'm finding it difficult to navigate through the web, any hints?
