Hi.

Hi I'm Becky, 47 year old living in Wiltshire.

I've always been active and healthy.

Then i hit my 40's and my aches and pains started, and i hit peri-menopause. I had hot flashes, i got a bit bigger in size slightly. I have been a road cyclist and was fit cycling 30 miles country roads and hills.

In February this year i had my worst asthma flare up/attack in years and years. And was on lots of steroid prednisolone tablets to try and get my asthma under control.

But i was on so many of them over 3 months, it's given me borderline diabetes.

I did my knee in 2 years ago cycling up a hill. Knee was never the same after that. I had key hole surgery on knee this May. But it hasn't made the pain go away much. It still limits my activity, especially long nature walks i used to love to do.

I do exercise on exercise bike maybe 2 hours a week. I have a vegan diet, i don't eat junk food. But my food portions could be smaller. Walking is an issue for me with my pain in my knee. So i cant go on long nature walks like i used to love doing.

I'm 5ft 7 and i weigh 13 and half stone.

I travelled 2 an half hours one way to have 2nd consultant referral on my knee injury.

I saw the consultant at RNOH in London yesterday, and saw him for 2 mins. He examined my knee said im level 2; level 4 or 5 being the worst. Be told me to loose 1 or 2 stone.

I need help and support from any weight loss groups.

Can anyone offer me any advice to help me to loose 1 or 2 stone in weight please.

Kind Regards,

Becky
