Is Wegovy more potent than Ozempic?

Hi everyone. I am 42, overweight (obese) and hypothyroid. I was always a chubby person and my hypothyroidism definitely did not help with that. Before I got a proper treatment (T3 in my case) I became obese probably because my metabolism was even slower during that time. After T3 I lost some weight but not nearly enough. After all diets and other possible treatments I decided to try Ozempic which I have to source myself online since I don't have prescription. I am very satisfied with it and I lost a lot of weight on it. However it's still not perfect (don't worry, I am not unrealistic, I don't expect to become a fashion model :) ). Some people are claiming that Wegovy is more potent? Is it true because maybe next I would get it instead of Ozempic? I also heard about Mounjaro, this is the newest I think, is it better than the other brands? I would really appreciate your opinion. Thanks.

Hi singlechip and welcome to Weight Loss Support.

We tend to have members that are following the more traditional routes to weight loss and I’m not aware of anyone that has Wegovy or Ozempic etc. We would also not give a professional opinion on here, being a peer to peer support group.

That’s not to put you off though and maybe you could find something here to support you.

I’ve added a link to all our current groups, have a look and please join in with any that you think look interesting to you.
