Hi. I'm completely new on here. My weight has been getting me down a lot recently. I lost 2 lbs last week so I guess I've made a start.

Welcome Choccychick17 , I am sure that moreless or one of the other administrators will come along and invite you to join the October Newbie Club soon.
In the meantime, well done for loosing 2lbs last week, that is a great start. You have found a very friendly forum to belong to and you will get loads of support. My advice is to join in as much as you can, read everything that the administrators introduce you to and read as many posts as you can. Join in when you feel comfortable by replying or just liking. Joining a weekly weigh in will offer you even more support. Take a look at the Daily Diary and see what other people are eating and get some new ideas. Ask as many questions as you want and shout for help if you are stuck.
Our weight has got all of us down at some time, that is why we are here. I don't know how much you are looking to loose, but I would suggest making small goals for your self instead of looking at the bigger picture which can be daunting.
