I'm 70 years old, 5 years ago I had a heart attack and have type 2 diabetes, my diabetes is without pills, it is just diet and exercise. I want to walk and slightly jog, I'm looking for inspiration and hope I can do it as I haven't done that for ages, anybody with any thoughts.

What a lovely post!

It's so nice to hear that you are trying to improve your health.

You haven't said whether or not you need to lose weight? Losing weight is about 80% diet and only 20% exercise. But also changing WHAT you eat rather than just quantities will really make a difference to your body's health.

Do you think you will enjoy walking and exercising alone, or might you think about finding a local walking for health club? I know they exist where I live.
