Well I have been sooooo good into my 3rd week now only treat I have been having which I have included in my daily calorie count is a unsweeten capuccino & 1 square of dark lindt choc. Yesterday I went shopping with my grandaughter as needed a new mobile phone I knew she would want to go for a snack, managed to steer her away from mcds & kfcs etc, we went to costa coffee (I thinks that's what they called it) I had a black coffee & ham & cheese toastie which I included in my calorie intake for the day which came to 1,228 cals so not so bad really! (not sure what key I have pressed on key board but letters printing different help!!)

Well done, kbed, you're doing really well, although 1228 seems very low. Is that what the NHS BMI calculator has recommended for you?

THanks moreless, NHS guidlines say at 65kg I am overweight (which I know) my BMI is 27 desired weight range 44.4kg-60.3kg (I am aiming for 60kg) daily calorie intake 1389 - 1785. if I consumed this many calories I would be back to 12stone at the most I try to keep under 1300 cals daily. I have also noticed on nhs bmi site it does not give you the option for very active which I am, going to gym 5 days a week also morning walks & park run on sats?

You do have to eat the right amount of calories advised by the bmi calculator to even be able to lose weight. I always used to eat lower thinking I would lose more weight or do it faster and used to put weight on because my body thought I was starving it and turned what I did eat into body fat and this weighs more than eating the extra calories does so it stops me from losing weight and sometimes puts weight on instead. This always caused me a problem and I was told about this on here and have managed to lose 2 1/2st and am the smallest I have ever been on here look wise even though there was a time I was just two pounds higher than this a few years ago I looked much fatter as well. My hubby keeps asking where his wife has gone, it makes me feel much better.
