I've hit the dreaded plateau this week!

Argh

18 weeks in and I gained 0.4 kilos while I am sure my calorie intake hasn't changed.

Sadly I can't exercise much due to MS.

Want to shed 4 more kilos, lost 16 so far.

Thanks for listening, just needed to moan a bit πŸ˜‚

You do need to take it slowly Anna, you have done so well so far, be proud of what you have achieved.

Think about how far you have come not how far you still have to go.

Take care

Hi Anna, don't despair, this is quite common after restricting your intake for a period of time. Have a look at this and see if it helps :)

Hi Anna_8888 You have done really well to lose what you have especially as exercising is limited. I am of the opinion that even weight loss needs a "holiday". You and your body has worked hard to lose the weight so far, try not to be too concerned about this small gain, there could be many reasons for it. Just keep on doing what you are doing.

Dear Anna,

dont despair if you keep going and count your calories and also look at the sort of food you are eating to make sure not too many carbs or sugar the weight loss will continue.

16kg loss is super. Did you see my visual of what 14kg looks like I posted a couple of days ago. Horrendous to think that you were carrying that much about 24/7.

I lost less this week when I weighed in on Monday but since then have lost a Kg so it happens in fits and starts

Yes I saw that picture. That was very inspiring Indeed.

I'm going to swap some food around I think as I can't go lower in calories 1200 is minimum and exercise is a bit random due to health. I do still have a fairly high amount of carbs so shall try to replace that a bit.

Thanks πŸ‘

Add the benefit fiber powder to your drinks could help. Or the metamucil. Best wishes

Well done on your fantastic progress so far and the commitment you've shown in the last 18 weeks.

This is just a blip.

I have MS too and i know the struggle it can be. But losing weight and eating healthily will help your body cope with the challenges you face every day.

Take heart, you're doing a great job.😁

After my shock of gaining weight last week I took the advice from you lovely people. I did cut some more carbs and took protein (egg), fiber (fig and a scoop of Metamucil) and added some nuts.

With result! Good amount of weight came off πŸ˜‰

Just 2 kilos to go now, the end is near.

Amazing result Anna_8888 and love the idea of figs, I must get some with this weeks shop πŸ˜‹

We have a green fig tree in the garden. And although not great fan of figs, I've put a fig in my yoghurt, topped with some cinamon. That's not too bad and apparently cinamon helps with the metabolism πŸ‘
