I no longer seem to be able to get the suggested calorie range anymore when I enter my details, just the BMI. Is it me?

Any suggestions gratefully received!

Thanks guys.

Many thanks!

Hi uptongirlsrule . If you are now within the recommended BMI range, the NHS BMI calculator doesn't offer you a calorie range any more. It must assume you have hit your target.

It's the same for me. I am now within the healthy BMI range so the calculator no longer suggests a calorie range for me. So I have just kept going on the lowest range which was suggested before I got to that point, which is 1400. I would still like to lose weight and also inches, as I am at the top of my recommended weight range, and know I would look and feel better if I managed to lose 4-7lb more. Slow going though! ☹️

I have just tried the BMI checker and it seems to be working fine. Have you put all the information in? If you are in the healthy range 18 - 25 it does not give you a calorie allowance.

Well, well -I never realised that!

I feel much the same as trimmerteacher here, the banding for a 'healthy'' BMI is huge, nearly 3 stone, as I recall (?), and I shan't be stopping for another few pounds yet, at least until I get to a point halfway down the scale!

So here at least for a bit longer!

Again, many thanks indeed for everyone's help!

I also continued losing until I reached a BMI of 22. That it where I feel most comfortable. Good luck on the last bit. Your weight loss is probably going to slow down but don't despair. It is possible 🙌
