Well done on checking it, it had to be done :)

You'll see your recommended calorie range, the range at which you will lose weight at a steady and sustainable rate. Don't be tempted to go below this range, you won't do yourself any favours. Aim towards the higher end, 3000 +

Hope you're finding your way around :)

Many thanks for the tip. I know from previous experience that the weight will drop of quickly at first but I need to make the changes permanent so hopefully this time will be different.

You have done something amazing. I remember being in tears when I checked my weight and BMI 2 weeks ago. How the hell did I end up being 20 stone when I am only 5'6! But it is never too late to change it. You can do this and know everyone here will support you doing so. Good luck with your journey, we are all here for you!

Many thanks - wish I was 20 stone! lol

Mine was about the same when i started but with a bit of will power and persistence ... it's moving downwards :)

Well done for checking and lets see it start to come down too!!

Every cloud has a silver lining. The great thing is you can eat over 3000 cals a day and you will still lose weight. Don't panic, just take it one day at a time and you'll be fine.

I was going to say something like that myself but thought I might be seen as being too flippant :-). Thanks for setting me straight.

You've done so many brave things already to get to this point.

Do listen to the others about the cal range. The consequences of not sticking to it will only make your journey more difficult (or worse :O ).

The good news is that from now on each positive step you make will be making you that bit healthier.

Good luck and most importantly, stay in touch!

Hate to rain on your parade but it isn't as unpretty as mine, my BMI was over 71 so you are by no means the worst. :)

Time for action before you find yours right up there with me too, you are in the right place this place is great for help and support good luck :)

If your mind is set on it you will. I never expected to make it through my first week and here I am 11 weeks later still plugging away......and believe me or not I am actually enjoying it.

It's the right time of year to kick-start a new healthier lifestyle too as we don't tend to want to eat as much when it's warm. We are all behind you :)

You can turn that around though, admitting there's a problem, is the first step.

Best of luck
