Nearly 2 stone off

I am nearly at the 2 stone mark and feeling I should be further on. I gave birth 3 months ago and increased about 4 stone so it doesn't feel like I have achieved much yet.

Any suggestions how to stay motivated?

I think you're expecting too much, too soon, Hippychicky! A two stone loss in three months, is absolutely fantastic and is approximately what I lost in my first 3 months too, but I went on to lose another 5 stone! Just be patient, you're already halfway there! :)

I took me 18 months to lose the 4 stone I gained during my 1st pregnancy and I still haven't lost the weight I gained during my second pregnancy and that was 37 years ago!! ;)

You're doing a terrific job and if you need more motivation, get active on the forum! Join the Daily Diary, a weigh-in, a challenge! There are many ways to get help to keep going.

All the best, onwards and downwards! :)

Hi Hidden love your name - makes me smile!!

2 stones in 8 weeks is a huge amount and your halfway to your goal.. Well done.

Please keep it real for yourself, the celebrities who give birth and look like models the next time you see them are the minority and they have all sorts of perks we don't see and put themselves to great pains to achieve for their image.

I hope your enjoying being a mum and both of you and dad are all well and happy with your little one and each other. Don't be distracted by weight - enjoy every moment of your baby's days.. they grow very fast, treasure each day and keep yourself healthy and eating well and you will be a long term role model for life.

Cheering you on 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you for the kind words. I am trying to remain focused although the 2 stone lost is now the beginning of my 4 stone left to go which is struggling to budge. I keep making little adjustments which I am sure will add up long term. It's just frustrating to see only a few grams loss each week, but it is a loss! I need the weight off to keep up with both my little ones so it gives me a good reason to stick to the loss

Onwards and downwards as we all say on here xx
