Basically you can't. It's that simple.
Keep on doing the same old same old, and you will get the same old result!
Change to healthy eating, calorie controlled sensible portions and you will lose weight.
In my opinion, as Kate Moss famously said, nothing tastes as good as slim feels!!
I'll modify that somewhat - you can eat the things you like, but in moderation. You don't need to deny yourself anything, not forever anyway, but it needs to be part of the healthy regime I mentioned before.
Give it a try! Most of us on here have seen great success with this.
well...i dont know what you like to eat to be able to give you that answer but am presuming it involves refined carbs & sugar !
Ive gone low carb and try to cut out sugar as much as possible...but i dont feel deprived by doing it... i still eat red meat/poultry/fish/cream/ cheese/butter/veg/fruit and feel healthier now for cutting out all the refined carbs/sugar than i ever have on any diet & i dont feel like im on a diet as im never hungry really.

I guess it depends on what you like to eat but I found once I changed to a healthy diet the things that I used to eat no longer appealed to me Once the weight started coming off it was wonderful and I'd never go back and I don't feel deprived of anything Food also tastes a lot nicer to me now
Count the calories too and you can always fit in a naughty treat and not feel you are missing out on things you liked

Hello elena34 and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum 😊 Losing weight involves eating less calories,,so if you like foods that are very calorific you have to either eat something else or have these in very small amounts.
Here are a few suggestions on how to get the most out of the forum. Please note if you are using the new HU App many of these features are not available so I suggest you use the full website version.
The first place to look is at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), read the Welcome Newbie thread first and move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you ☺
Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news ☺
Have a look at the NHS 12 week plan, as many people have had success with it. Also use the BMI checker to find your target calories, it's important to eat enough. This was a major turning point for me, realising I could eat anything I wanted as long as the calories are accounted for ☺
Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate ☺
The forum also have group weigh-ins every day, as well as a new Daily Diary, if you wish to take part. The posts can always be found in the Events section on the 'home' page ☺
