When I was 18 I started my journey. After reaching 16 st and 7 lb's, I knew I had to stop. Finding it difficult to walk and classed as obese, I went to the gym everyday and restricted my diet. Successfully loosing 4st and 7lb's getting me down to 12st exactly. Thrilled I was off to University, which now has me spiraled to 14st and 10lb. But i took a long look in the mirror, and now started my journey all over again. Just happy that I didn't get back to my biggest. Now I have lost half a stone in a week. Leaving me currently at 14st 3lb's. But I need support, and that's why I am here. :) xx hoping for a better future, where weight doesn't cage me.

Morning Unicornsarereal

Welcome to the weight loss forum. You have done brilliant on losing 4st 7lbs and well done for not letting it go up too much before gaining control again.

Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.

Take your measurements at the start together with a photo so you can see the changes on the days the scales don't move.

We have daily weigh ins so why not come along and join us. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.

To get the most of the forum be active, share tips, recipes and experiences. Read some of the posts they are very motivating.

Have a good first week.

Well done for taking the that long hard look in the mirror and getting yourself back on track. It's so easy to let "stuff" , no matter what it is, get in the way. You should be proud of yourself. 🌹

Hi Unicornsarereal

Great start. I Just finished the 12 week plan and lost 3 stone. So keep Positive and lets get them pounds off. Has time goes by you will have to think about doing some exercise as well. I have taken up cycling ,because I did not like running. Good Luck .
