Not very good at getting set of with things but here goes.
I started my weight loss challenge (yet again!) yesterday.
But this is the 1st time with nhs weight loss, so hope I can do it.
I've about 2 stone to loose. Might not seem much to some but I'm only small in height and frame so every pound shows.
Also good luck to everyone on this journey.
We can do it : ) come on let's help each other achieve our goals and prove those people wrong who sigh and say oh.... Here we go again! He/she will give up again after a week or so.

hi. this is my 1st time with the nhs and I started yesterday as well... I'm feeling positive as well that this will be the diet that will work and with the help from everyone on this forum I'm sure we can all do it xx good luck
It will be hard but we have to look forward to our new shapes! : ) I was brave and took pics (unclothed!!!) so each month I can look back and hopefully will see how well I'm doing. Nice to be in touch with someone who started at the same time. For the first time I don't feel alone at trying to loose weight.
So... Come on Bigmama99 and all our weight loss buddies lets shock and rock the world 😀
I've got a lot more weight to lose than you to get to my ideal weight... (7 stone to lose).... but I'm going to going to aim for my first 5kg loss as my 1st win... and try not to get obsessed with the scale as much... but concentrate more on how I feel & look. x
That is a great way to look at it in sections. Instead of thinking oh miles to go. I'm with you on this. Let's keep each other motivated when the going gets tuff.
Think when we have reached our goal and how good it will feel 🙂
I'm lucky that I'm a "housewife " but then I have access to the food cupboard all day!
Just signed up this morning after BUPA health check at work. Knew I needed to lose "a bit" but boy does that focus the mind! Like you, I have just over 2 stone to lose - lets help keep each other motivated - I know I will certainly need it!
I will certainly try my best to keep you motivated as trying to loose weight is like trying to touch the moon!
But I've decided right let's build a staircase and reach it then : )
I've yo yo dieted so many times with failure. Always look at pictures of how other people have lost weight and look fantastic then just felt sorry for myself and said I wish that was me. Then filled my face!
But now the feeling sorry for myself is over.
So let's do it : ) let's make ourselves look fab. It won't be easy but we just need to help each other and be able to say we did it!!! : )))

I think I've just got lazy after having a mid brain stroke about 19 months ago.
It has taken some getting over but with the help of my wonderful partner and my Border collie sheepdogs I'm doing ok. I've been blaming all the medication I've been taking on my 2stone weight gain. But that's a poor excuse so I just need to kick myself up the backside and stop feeling sorry for myself : )
Also training one of my Border collies to do sheepdog trials and that can be quite active work at times.
