Hi there and I would like to say welcome to us. You will soon receive a message from one of our administrators who will give you some information that will assist you. We have weigh in days for people to join where you will add your weight details once a. Week. Unfortunately you cannot join onto mondays at the moment but any other day will be fine. Hope you enjoy yourself here and if you have any questions or worries please don't be afraid to ask them because there will always be someone that will be able to answer your question. The best thing for you to do at the moment is to check out your bmi on the bmi calculator so you know what the correct amount of calories you will be able to stick to for you to lose weight. It will give you two amounts and you can choose any amount somewhere between this but it would be best to go closer to the higher amount as this will give you amounts to drop to anytime you find you are having problems whereas if you choose the lower amount you have nothing to drop to, this will also cause problems when you are close to finishing. You will always find everyone is very friendly and helpful. Hope you complete your journey successfully so good luck and all the best. 🤞🙏🎉
Hi, thank you can you please tell me when the next weigh in day is x
You can do this any day of the week except Monday but do have to choose the same day once a week as you can't weigh in yourself daily. For this you are best to choose the day that will be easiest for you every week. To find this it will be best to go to the home page that you will find near the top of the page but under the Weight loss NHS sign within the strawberries if you are using computer or laptop and if you are using mobile apparently you will find the home page at the bottom of the page. Once you have gone into the home page you need to find the events section which is apparently again at the bottom again if you are using a mobile but if you are using a computer or laptop it is on the right of the screen around where you currently see the topics, pinned post and related post. Hope this helps and you find it ok.

Hi and welcome, Emily
Take a look at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), read the Welcome Newbie thread, then move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you.
Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news.
Take a look at the 12 week plan, as a lot of people have been successful with it, making sure to enter your details into the BMI calculator, to get a calorie allowance tailored to your personal requirements. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate.
We run daily weigh-in's and you'd be very welcome to join us. The threads can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom on a mobile.
We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too.
It's only left for me to wish you well on your journey
I use MyFitnessPal app to add my calories and work them out as this is free to use. You can also work them out yourself and write them down. MyFitnessPal gave me different amounts calorie wise to the bmi calculator but I have ignored this because the bmi gives you more room to vary with and when I joined I hardly ever lost weight and didn't eat much and found out from here this was because I wasn't eating enough calories and your body thinks you are trying to starve it so turns what you do eat into fat to store it and keep it going. Fat weighs more which is why I always put on weight before. Now finally I am eating more and losing weight. You can add your weight, bmi details and any other information you want just on here if you wish too.
