Hi everyone I haven't been able to post for a while as my 27 year old son has had an emotional physchosis and been very unwell. However having spent the last 4 weeks with him supporting him and the mental health professionals we seem to be doing ok now. I can't praise the mental health team enough it was a huge fight thro doctors to get him assessed by the crisis team but once I got there they have been brilliant.
I have used the happiness tools learnt on here everyday and thankfulness and mindfulness tools and have got thro with lots of tears and now more laughter! In the meantime I have stuck to the 12 week plan and have lost 6lbs in 4 weeks so I am feeling pretty good. I am swimming twice a week and dog walking which is therapeutic and just wanted to say to everyone that if you are determined no matter what life throws you can do this. I now have 10lbs to go and back into healthy weight range my jeans already feel more comfy and I am determined to go into the middle of my range by June . So keep going everyone it works and keep reminding yourself why you joined and what your goal is whether fitting in clothes or just being healthier.
