Ready for a new me.

Decided to start as mean to go on and walked the 3.4 mile to work. Would have been easier accompanied by my little Labrador but I don't think even he would have been happy a 3:45 this morning.

Was not as bad as I thought it would be and what a lovely walk it was just me and the birds in the trees chirping away.

Brilliant, well done 🌼

Thank you everyone, needs must unfortunately as I sold my motorcycle before Christmas and no other way to get to work for the early shift.

So I have no excuses now and I have surprised myself in how I feel even though I have just started my journey to a better me.

Thank you again everyone for the motivational comments.

I'm surprised that the birds were awake and singing! 3 45 is way too early for me. Respect to you.

Walking is a great way of getting fit, losing weight and improving mood. I walk after work, sometimes the whole way home (about 9k), but mostly to a station further down the line, about 40mins. It helps wind me down and switch into "free time mode". In the morning I either run or walk before work, also about 40 mins. But 3:45 is pretty early!
