hey everyone I'm new here, have signed up for 12 week NHS programme and am planning on starting tomorrow, I've put 2 stone on since wedding in 2015, feeling tired and overweight, want to feel better in myself.

Aww that’s good your starting today too! Let’s do this! And yes me too , I think when food is out of control other areas of life is too, so I’m wanting to gain better control especially food! X

Hi Faith7 and welcome. I'm a fairly new member here myself, so still learning my way around the platform. 'Psyching' myself up is more than half the battle, I've found and the way you do this will differ from one person to another. It's all a very personal thing and it's all in the mind. There's plenty to read here and I've been amazed at how much time can be spent doing it but it's very absorbing and lovely to 'meet' people and read their stories and experiences! The stage where enough is enough! Like you (read ur profile) have got a choc addiction too and defo emotional eater ! I don’t drink but turn to choc when dressed, depressed tired etc . Problem is it’s feeding the problem . I’m going try do other activities when feeling like that
