Last evening I went to the cinema with a friend. She asked "where did you buy that top"? "Oh" said I, casually: "I found it at the back of the wardrobe!. Now it fits again!"
So, the message is, I am still on the weight loss journey but enjoying little triumphs along the way. After all I have lots of things in my wardrobe I shall enjoy bringing out again. Some are dated, of course, and destined for the bin. Others are quite classic and will have a new life till I get further down the weightloss hill.
Good wishes to all of us on the forum.

Isn't it a lovely feeling when you get back into clothing you had put away. It's just as exciting as the numbers on the scales. !!!! Each week I had a certain dress to journey with me , I can now wear it comfortably after losing 2st 5lbs my ideal would be another 7lbs off. It's taken 15weeks but never before have I found so many like minded people so full of encouragement.
it's a good feeling isn't it.... I'm a jeans girl and have loads of different size jeans in my wardrobe from size 22 - 16..... i can't wait to get to the point when I can say I'm getting rid of the big clothes with confidence that I'm not going to be as big as that again !
What a lovely positive post I can feel your joy. I recently read a book about how french women stay slim apparently they buy very few classic expensive clothes so if their weight starts to increase they have to stop eating or they have no clothes to wear- it's a thought. Best wishes for your journey
