What is your favourite health tip/advice?

I'd love to hear people's different all time favourite health tip/rule that they swear by! Something you think is really effective or enjoyable :)

Mine is probably to cycle everywhere instead of walking, I rarely walk or take public transport anymore!

Mine is defiantly to drink more fluids (Only water for me) nothing else just 2-3litres a day, i thought the whole drink more water for weight loss was a myth, but its not hydration is key :) Also positive mindset, meal planning, and boiled eggs :)

Mine would be to eat slowly and more mindfully. I used to eat so fast it had gone before I tasted it!

In relation to 'messing up' Claz if you eat too much at one point in the day then make up for it later, don't think oh well ice had too much lunch I will have too much tea as wel.

Sometimes if I know a big dinner is unavoidable (special meal out for example) I'll eat very very low calorie meals for the rest of the day so I'm still under my daily intake!! Love the flexibility :)

Eat the old fashioned way! Loads of cooked meals with meat and two veg, and stews. you will be very slim and not ail a single thing.

Slow and steady plan, not trying to do everything at once and weighing every day works for me :)

Good advice! Im wondering why you aim for low protein?

Listen to your body and act on it. I didnt and ended up with Type 2 Diabetes. It took a long time to gain the weight so dont expect miracles but celebrate every pound lost!

Good luck

Mine is to keep to a permanent healthy diet and never to follow any diet fads like slimming world etc

Also regular exercise and always make time for things I enjoy doing.

I read "The Diet Myth" by Tim Spector. Now I eat masses of pumpkin and butter nut squash to maintain the micro organisms that keep my gut healthy.

Mine would be the social side. Anything is easier when you have friends supporting you whether face to face or on here. It's good to have moral support.

Whatever you do that works, just keep doing it for as long as it takes
