Hi everyone. I'm a single parent of 2 children. My weight has gone up and down for the last 4 years but really wanting to make a change to stay healthy. I'm 28 years old and feeling so tired and weak. Can't wait to start the nhs weight loss plan. Excited!

Good morning! I'm new too - this is day 10 for me. Making healthier choices with food is already giving me more energy, and as the weight comes off it can only better. Congratulations fir taking your first step, and enjoy your first day of positive action.

FitAll, Welcome this is the first step to a new a new begging you will find this forum so warm and friendly. Ready to help with any questions you may have. Diet is excellent another is getting out and exercising. Take the children for walks or get a sitter to watch. You can find exercises on you tube to follow which you can do at home. Some single moms find the cost to join to join a gym difficult, there are plenty of other options. I'm sure you'll hear of some favorites they train by. You have not mentioned how much you are interested in dropping. Focus an a well balance diet 1500-1700 calories a day cutting most bread, pasta and rice you may have them but all measured. Write everything you eat even a pad of butter in your diary it all counts as calories. Look at labels shop healthy eat mores salads, take meat and make salad. rather the pasta make zucchini noodles for yourself a zoolde can be found on Amazon for less then $20 make pasta for the kids. Mash cauliflower for mashed potato's or rice it. So may different diet option to reduce calories giving you more room. To consume if hungry. Snacks carrots and veggie's cut and in fridge ready to eat, kids love these. Clean the cabinets out of junk food. Best wishes.
