Hi all,

I am looking to lose a little bit of weight and was wondering if any of you had really good and cheap tips for me?

Heya, welcome!

For useful info you can check out the pinned posts on the right, and take a look at the NHS plan on the right of the homepage.

Do you make lots of meals out of beans or lentils? They are cheap and filling and great for weight loss.

Also quorn mince is pretty cheap and makes lovely bolognese and chili.

That's great thank you!! I haven't used lentils or beans much but I will start now!!

I never thought of quorn mince but will have to give it try!! 😊

Awesome, youre welcome. You can cook lentils quite quickly but beans take ages from scratch, so best to buy them precooked in cans. Enjoy cooking your new dishes!

Thank you very much I have followed lowcal now and will start following you too. :) I am trying to lose a bit of weight but I've got 21 days till my 21st and don't think I'll make my target haha

You could have lost a few pounds though and that will make you feel good for your 21st! :)

What would you say is the best way to loose weight quick? including a bit of exercise everyday. cause I really want to get rid of a bit of belly fat I have and I have heard 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon honey in a glass of water on a empty stomach in morning and before dinner but im not sure if it work or not.
