It's addictive isn't it. I walk 5km every morning before breakfast, if I miss a morning I just don't feel right all day.
Well done Htrep!
I had a somewhat lasy day yesterday, as my energy levels have plummeted! I'm struggling to get up in the morning in a BIG way! I did go over my calorie allowance yesterday and somehow gained 1 and a half lb too, although I didn't think I went that much over!
I haven't taken my iron supplement in two days so that might have something to do with it so I'm going to see if that has an effect when I take it today. Because I find it very hard to even walk when I feel like this!
Here's to your next long walk!
I have felt like you before Sazkia. I know I do not know your medical history and I am not meaning to pry in to your life either. Have you had your bloods checked. Taking iron tablets is not ideal if you do not need them. Could you try a short walk it may help your motivation. When I was out yesterday I could have kept going!!! Hope you feel better soon. x
Dr wanted to me to go for full blood works a while ago due to some symptoms that he couldn't understand but I kept forgetting. I only take the iron supplement (water based) because I do feel more alert and energetic after I have taken it.
I've loads of house work to do today but I will go out at some point for a little walk. My poor dog was a little sad because we didn't go out yesterday. I just felt too tired.
Thanks for your advice, Htrep.
It's always worth getting blood checked. It could be lack of iron, although diet is better than supplements. Vitamin c also important, vitamin D often low in grey Britain too 😕 Also low thyroxine levels make you very tired.
Hope you feel better soon 😊
I'm already taking a vitamin D, B and E supplement aswel as cod liver oil, although I have not taken any supplement for two days as I thought I was probably getting enough with my diet but the dip in energy and low mood correlates with me stopping my supplements. I'm going to start taking them again from today and see what happens. Thanks. x
