I'm new to this site so thought I would introduce myself.
I've been a yo-yo dieter with SW and WW for about 20 years and I need to lose about 5-7 stone.
I struggle with food guilt - feeling guilty if I have something I shouldn't, then getting upset with myself if I don't lose weight or have a gain. Vicious circle!
Anyway, I will give it a go and see how I get on!

Hi Jemma. I have been yo-yoing for many years too. I really feel you have come to the right place. One of the fab 5'ers will probably send you a link to the Newbie post or you can see it on the right of here. The NHS 12 week plan is all about changing your lifestyle and mindset and making habits that you can stick to for the rest of your life. Read some of the success stories on here, for example LessToLose has just lost 7 stone. I have now managed to lose just under the 2 stone I wanted to and am now looking to maintain that loss. I have tried other diets in the past but this forum is what really has made a difference this time. Everyone is so supportive and motivating. You can come on at any time for help and advice and its great if you are having a bad day. You can have treats but just need to keep within your daily allowance. I try not to deprive myself of anything but if I fancy a biscuit with my cup of tea then I usually reduce something from my evening meal. Its all about balance. Give it a go and I am sure you will succeed. Best of luck
