Hi all I joined a month ago but have put off starting for no good real reason i need to lose around 15 to 20 kg to be in healthy range.
I'm not good at sticking to diets etc and need to exercise I don't do much at all. Any tips would be appreciated.

Don't think of it as a diet. Just track your calories and then you'll realise what you're doing wrong and where to make changes. As for exercise, just start by taking a walk. Maybe use a pedometer or your iPhone for tracking your steps. It won't take long for it to become a habit. Good luck.
Hi Karen235,
Welcome to the NHS Weight Loss forum. I know you joined a month ago, but it's great to see you've posted today! I notice you've put off starting, but I'm guessing you maybe feel a bit more ready to start today, as you're posting now. Good luck with your goal to lose 15 to 20 kg to be in the healthy range BMI.
I would recommend the NHS 12 week plan as a great structure. If you look at the Welcome Newbie post (in Pinned Posts area - hopefully you've spotted that during your month here so far, but if you don't know where it is, it's the top right-hand side of the homepage), and have a look at the information and suggestions within it. It's a really helpful resource, and has links to the NHS 12 week plan in there. But if you want to access the plan straight away, then click on the icon above labelled 'Weight loss NHS' and you can access it via the link pages.
Have a great week!
